Panther Peak Bindery
Harald Ahrenkiel (1897 - 1978) apprenticed with Charles Paasche for two years before moving to Sophus Sørensen, where he studied hand gilding and fine binding, finishing in 1916. Then he worked with Michael Rasch and then Jacob Baden for 7 years. Ahrenkiel then went into business with Jens Olsen from 1923 - 27. After that venture failed he went to work at the University Library in Fiolstraede, later he began to take on work from the Royal Library. He was instrumental in the careers of many upcoming binders.
