I intended to do classes earlier this year but a crazy amount of stuff has gotten in the way, some good, some unfortunate.
I will be doing classes as soon as I can. I want to do them, they make me happy and we all need more of that. They’ll make you happy too!
So keep checking back. Now it’s August 2023, and September and October are not going to work. I’m waiting to see how November shapes up. Again it’s been a crazy year. I look forward to getting some control of my life back.
In general all tools and materials are provided. No need to bring anything to come and learn and have a wonderful day. It doesn’t make sense to me to require folks to buy tools and supplies for something they’re not sure if they’re going to be doing much of this in the future.
And, after taking a class if they want to buy those things they’ll have a much better idea of what to look for and will make better choices. Which means they’ll be happier people! What could be better?
That’s also the reason why I have four different Kutrimmers. Why not take a class and try them all out before making a decision on whether to buy one, and which one to choose?
The exceptions are with the leather classes where specific knives and leathers are needed. My feeling is that if you are doing a leather class you most likely are going to need and use those materials in the future. Any other exceptions to this policy will be spelled out in the course description.
