Hinged Lid Class
I've been teaching this box for a few years and it's been a very fun class to offer. It's a box with nearly unlimted uses and variations.
The lid is attached to the base and when closed is held in place by compression -- the decorated paper covers the "locking piece."
The box is covered in bookcloth, the base is lined with paper or cloth, and the locking piece is covered in paper.
As with the other box courses, this box provides a basis on which most other boxes are made.
This class will meet from 9 to 2, and is $85 which includes all supplies. All tools are supplied. The class is limited to 8 students.
