Flat Back Binding Class

This class will introduce you to modern bookbinding.  It is the perfect class if you want to either learn to repair books or if you want to pursue more traditional bookbinding.  It’s a suitable class for beginners and those who are more advanced.

In this class we will make a full cloth book. This will involve cutting the pages from large sheets of paper, folding and trimming them to size. We will sew the book over tapes, the most common style of sewing books.

We will also discuss the variations and options in cloth bookbinding as time allows.

All tools and materials provided.

We'll meet from 8 - 5.

The cost for this class is $125 which includes all materials.
